Dosage and method of use:
Dosage:
- Adults: one injection of 1 gm every 12 hours.
- Children: 50 to 75 mg per 1 kg of the child's weight per day.
- Meaning if the child weighs 20 kg, the appropriate dose will be 20 kg x 50 kg = 1000 mg per day, which is equivalent to one injection of 500 mg concentration every 12 hours, and thus the appropriate dose is calculated according to the weight.
