It is used for short-term treatment, from mild to moderate pain, such as back pain and post-operative pain.
Its anti-inflammatory and anti-pain effect results from blocking the action of prostaglandins, which are chemicals that are secreted at the site of injury and cause pain and inflammation. This blockage occurs by blocking the enzyme called cyclooxygenase (COX for short), which is responsible for the production of prostaglandins.

Dosage and method of use:

Two to three times a day.
Do not lie down within 15-30 minutes after taking the medicine.

Dosage:

For pain management: 8-16 mg per day, divided into 2-3 doses.
For the treatment of osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis: an initial daily dose of 12 mg, divided into 2-3 meals, and thereafter a maintenance dose of no more than 16 mg per day.
In cases of liver or kidney dysfunction: a daily dose of up to 12 milligrams per day, divided into three meals.
