6091403220410Zyloric tablets are used to treat gout, increase certain types of salts (uric salts), and lead to kidney stones.
Zyloric 300 mg also contributes to reducing the formation of uric acid in the body, in patients receiving chemotherapy, as well as in cases of cancer.

Dosage and method of use:

To treat gout:

Moderate gout: 200-300 mg daily.
Moderate to severe gout: 400-600 mg daily.
Maximum dose: 800 mg daily in divided doses.

To treat high levels of uric acid in the blood due to cancer treatments:

Adults and children: 600-800 mg daily for 2 or 3 days.
Children under 10 years: 300 mg daily.
Children under 5 years: 150 mg daily.

For the treatment of recurrent kidney stones:

Adults: 200-300 mg per day, taken in single or divided doses.

Indications:

This medicine is used to treat gout.
Helps prevent the formation of kidney stones.
It prevents gout attacks before they occur.
Sometimes this medicine is used after bypass surgery and to reduce recurrence of stomach ulcers.
It may be used to prevent the body from rejecting the transplanted kidney.
It reduces uric acid in people being treated with cancer medications.
